A community reading for a mixed audience of children and adults, with conversation about grief and big feelings.
First Grade Classroom
Read aloud to a first grade class, led a discussion about big feelings and grief, and ended with a hands-on craft.
5th Grade Girl Scout Troop
Spoke with 12 fifth-grade scouts about the book and big feelings, then did a craft activity together.
Local Moms Group
Gave a talk about grief — how to support children through loss while also caring for yourself as a parent.
