Absolutely nothing can prepare you as a parent for guiding your child through the death of a parent. Landon has been an absolute champion and I’m so proud of him, and know Brian is, too.

He recently wondered if Daddy was looking down on us from heaven. (Yes, of course.) Then on Easter Sunday, he was blowing bubbles and thought a really big bubble could maybe go up to heaven and Daddy could come down in it.

What we all wouldn’t give to see Brian floating back to us.
