I’ve taken to calling Landon super baby because he is, but also because he frequently throws his arms up in a super hero pose.

He had surgery at Children’s Hospital on Monday for a dual inguinal hernia, which further solidified his super baby status. Surgery is tough, and this little 10-pound tough guy is about as tough and super as they come. His shirt even says so.

We had to have Landon at the hospital at 6 am and he thankfully was the first surgery of the day. He spent the night in the hospital so they could observe him. The surgery itself wasn’t dangerous, but they always like to keep the wee little ones overnight to ensure they don’t have any adverse effects from the anesthesia. We’re glad to be back home!
