The doctors and nurses at West Penn were absolutely wonderful during Landon’s 19-day stay. He spent his time in a heated isolette since he struggled to stay warm enough on his own and gain weight properly. He also took many feedings through a little tube. Landon was a spunky guy though! He removed his own iv and oxygen tube. Fortunately it was at a point where he didn’t need them any longer.

They also had a little secure camera so Brian and I could log on to see what Landon was up to. I especially loved this during our nearly week-long separation while we were in separate hospitals.

Near the end of his stay he moved to a step down unit where I could start staying overnight with him too.
