Landon tripped up a flight of hardwood stairs and hit his foot with such force he broke the growth plate in his left big toe. There’s a pediatriac urgent care nearby, so we visited urgent care the next day. Although swelling obscured the x-rays a bit, the doctor suspected a fracture, which a follow-up orthopedic appointment verified.

Landon’s in a boot until mid-December, which he decorated with stickers. He’s moving around great and was the hit of his kindergarten classroom when he went to school with a “new shoe”!
