Landon turned 5 on April 16! Despite being in the earliest days of our intense grief, we still made it a special day and arranged a very last-minute party for him with friends, playing, pizza and, at Landon’s request, dirt cake with gummy worms that he helped make. We also went to local Wunderbar that day for a fancy grilled cheese sandwich.

Landon got a scooter with light up wheels, a leafblower and a sleeping bag (and more), which he happily used on his first camp-out with Uncle Greg and his cousins in our yard in May.
