Yard fun + first tractor ride!

This summer we got a slide for him. He loves going down the slide and is learning to climb the little ladder to get the top of the platform.

We set up his splash pad at the base of the slide during a particularly hot weekend. It made me want to be 2 again, too!

Tractors, and construction equipment in general, are a BIG deal around here. Our neighbor lets us borrow his lawn tractor to mow the grass and Landon recently got to take his first ride on it! He wasn’t too sure at first, but loved it so much he cried when it was all over.

Brian also rented a mini excavator a few weekends ago for a drainage project and Landon and I spent most of that weekend staring out the window at the excavator and asking Daddy to “turn it on” when he took a break. Now every time we go past a construction site, Landon points out the excavators. It’s a big word for him!
