We’re all living in a crazy time — shelter-in-place orders, businesses closed, a fragile economy and an even more fragile health system. News changes by the day and sometimes even by the hour. As a member of the media, I spend at least 40 hours immersed in it and reporting about its effects on the glass and fenestration industries.

But one of the fun things about these closures is that Landon and Brian are home. (Daycare is closed and Brian doesn’t work for an essential life business, as is the only type of business allowed to remain open in Pennsylvania.) Landon doesn’t have the stress and anxiety of the rest of the world, and we get to spend extra time with him. I’ll try to get better about posting occasional silly stories and photos. He’s so full of joy!

Landon had a booboo on his thumb. One day my aunt was talking to him about booboos and he looked at his thumb, then asked, “Where’d it go?”

Landon will not say yes. Ever. He loves saying no so much he even says no when someone says yes and says no randomly. I sang Jesus Loves Me recently and when I got to the part of “Yes! Jesus loves me!” Landon interrupted and said “No!”
