Landon LOVES to dance. I mean, this kid has moves. There’s one where he stomps his right foot and swings his right arm simultaneously. We call that The Landon™. He also does what Brian calls the mule kick, where Landon gets on all fours and kicks one leg back. He has a head bob. He sometimes twirls. He frequently falls over because he’s laughing so hard.
Dancing is also great for Landon’s physical therapy goals. He doesn’t use his left leg nearly as well or as often as his right leg and his PT, Lisa, is working with us and him to learn activities we can do to encourage him to engage that left leg, too. Dancing is one of them!
Sidenote: Pediatric PT is WAY more fun than adult PT. I certainly don’t get to dance, stomp on bubble wrap or play in laundry baskets during my weekly sessions!
