Lexi and Landon are becoming good buddies the older he gets. Although she finds him exhausting (same, me too), she rather loves him. They frequently share her dog bed and Landon often seeks her out in the morning. One of his less endearing habits is trying to feed her his table food, which we don’t advocate. (She’s allowed to clean up the floor after he’s done, though.)

Landon frequently says “baba,” and we’re pretty sure that’s what he calls Lexi.

She also rarely misses bedtime stories. If his closet door is open, she prefers to lie in there and I’ve accidentally shut her in Landon’s room more than once.

Landon even picks his own bedtime stories out. I generally hold up two books and ask him to choose. Some evenings he gets this adorable furrowed brow as he contemplates which book is preferable.

Other cute moment: Discovering Dada’s sunglasses, the joys of playing with sticks at the park (much more entertaining than sticks in our yard) and sitting on the shelf under our kitchen island.

He loves playing on the couch and sitting like a big person. He also waves a lot, more frequently for bye than for hi. Landon also started saying “buh” (bye) in conjunction with waving. The other night before bed he was crawling up the stairs and stopped every few steps to look at me through the banister to wave and say “buh.” A few more steps, a wave and “buh.” Repeat four times.

He also loves to be read to and to read to us, when he has the book upside down more often than not.
