Landon turned 8 months old on December 16 in the midst of a very busy time of year preparing for Christmas and preparing for a big job change (me). He finally cut a few teeth like a champ and we all survived his first cold and pink eye. Landon’s eating like a pro and even started adding some meat into his diet!

He frequently goes to MOPS (Mothers of preschoolers) with me and I think we both enjoy it. One little boy there is only two days older than Landon and it’s been fun to see their development. Landon is physically bigger but the other boy is a bit more developed in his skills.

Landon hasn’t officially crawled yet, but he’s quite adept at scooting across the floor to get where he wants. He gets on all fours easily and rocks back and forth, sometimes rather ferociously.

His laughs and smiles are contagious and so big they don’t even fit on his face. A few weeks ago I was feeding him pumpkin for dinner and he was so happy about it he kept laughing, but then eventually got angry he wasn’t eating … because he was laughing too much.
