I posted recently about Lexi appearing to be fond of Landon, and that relationship is only strengthening. Some of the time, she pointedly ignores him, but more and more of the time she’s quite attentive.

Landon is a noisy sleeper and last weekend he was upstairs in his crib napping while I was downstairs. Landon squealed in his sleep and Lexi immediately ran upstairs to his room, saw the door was shut and ran back downstairs to me. I told her he was fine, so she went halfway upstairs, plopped down on a stair and glared at me. Lexi’s very judgmental of my mothering.

Then when Granny (my mom) came to get Landon the other morning, Lexi jumped in the back of her car with Landon and when I tried to call her out, she got up and moved closer to him before lying down again! I did get her out, but it wasn’t without effort. I’ve been able to capture a few of their moments together recently.

“Excuse me, but your tail keeps hitting my head. Do you mind?”

Landon was kicking Lexi, but she didn’t seem to mind. I think she may have even liked the attention.

Only these two know what they were staring at.

I am convinced they were having a conversation about how to get into trouble together one day. They both just stopped and stared at me. Thick as thieves.

How can you not smile right along with Landon?

Yes, that’s a dog snout in Landon’s face. No, I can’t do anything about it. She helps him with tummy time.
