The 4th of July has long been one of my favorite holidays. Family always comes in for it and my hometown, Zelienople, has an amazing small town celebration. The whole community comes out and it’s one big neighborhood experience. Even the years I lived in Chicago, I always made the effort to come back home for the 4th.

This year it was amazing to get to share it with Landon! He won’t remember it of course, but I will, and he’ll get to enjoy photos of it and I hope also grow up with our wonderful celebration and family time.

He did a great job walking (well, strollering) all over town and then enjoying a picnic at Granny and Papa’s house. No fireworks show for him quite yet!
